All our employe's have been working in the moving business for many years and are experienced. One thing we all
learned about the moving business though, is that a lot of times the charges are enormous.
Most moving companies charge
by weight or by cubic foot, which can lead to either an overcharge on your price quote or extra charges by not filling all
the cargo space you’ve asked for. Here are a few things other moving companies charge you extra for:
- Piano moves
- Bulky furniture moves
- Up to $2.00 per mile of driving
- $75.00 per extra laborer to help load or unload
- etc…
Over the years, we’ve
learned that our customers are more looking for a flat rate instead of getting hit with hidden charges.
Our company offers the full
move in a flat rate with a “Binding Estimate”. Whether you pack your stuff and we just load, drive and unload,
or you want us to pack it for you, we will charge you only one flat rate. Nothing
more, nothing less.
We also don’t own our
trucks. We have a leasing agreement with a local truck leasing company where
we can pick the truck that fits your needs and don’t have to worry about any arising maintenance costs that we have
to put back on our customers bills. This is the reason you won’t find an
MC number on any of our advertisement. Since the trucks always change, the MC
number for that truck always changes.
Our prices are based on covering
our costs (gas, mileage, insurance), and the labor costs for our employee’s. The
only time we charge something extra would be for the cleaning, refinishing any hardwood floors and painting. Those prices again depend on the size of the house/apartment and if there are any appliances that need
to be rented, like a rug doctor. But again, those services are only offered and can be booked when needed.
With this strategy, we can
save you a lot of money compared to other moving companies.

We don’t charge you
extra for a Piano or bulky furniture. If we can move it for you, it will all
be in our flat rate, no hidden costs.
We do want to remind you
though, that we are based out of Wisconsin. We do interstate moves, but if you
want to move within a distance of 20 miles for example, in Tampa, Florida, you can get a quote from us, but we suggest that
you will go with the lowest bid from your local movers. Of course if our Estimate
seems more appealing to you, we will be very happy to move you.
A lot of times we get asked
if we can load or unload only. We only
do those jobs if they are within a 50 mile radius of our headquarters. Otherwise it would get to expensive for our
customers.
